988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
Call or Text 988 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to be connected to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in a suicidal, mental health and/or substance use crisis. People can still call or text the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
Legal Aid Society of San Diego
Legal Help with Housing, Debt Collection, Repossession, Sales Contracts, Housing Discrimination, Family Law, Immigration, Federal Tax Problems, CalWorks/CalFresh/General Relief, Conservatorships, Restraining Orders, SSI.
San Diego Youth Services
San Diego Youth Services helps San Diego’s most vulnerable youth, including foster children, youth experiencing homelessness, family conflict and violence, abuse and neglect, mental health struggles and substance abuse. To get help or a referral for any of theirr services, call or text (619) 241-0608 Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
San Diego Rescue Mission
The San Diego Rescue Mission, in partnership with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, provides food items at no cost to nearly 50 nonprofit organizations who operate hunger relief programs within San Diego County. Each of these partners have been accepted to the Food Bank’s Food to Nonprofits Program. Food is distributed each week in a central location, allowing accessibility to many organizations across central and southern San Diego.
